WELCOME TO THE FIRST EDITION OF CCC NEWS!

Every community strives to build a cohesive and equitable society to strengthen its community growth. They try to focus on building the dynamic energy or bringing people together for just the purpose. Most communities have grown more and more diverse, and combining the strength of the individuals making up our communities determines who will be the most successful in attracting job growth, building a robust economy, and establishing generational wealth in all diverse groups. But to do this it takes more than just having cultural parties and events. It takes first and foremost, examining our communities to determine the strengths and weaknesses of each culture within our community. The question being that, while we are looking at education and employment, are we also looking at services needed and are those services being shared and utilized equitably? If not, bringing your community together to utilize the strength of all is going to be very difficult.

The first thing we think of is language barriers and while that may be a big issue and any easy fix, often there are many more issues that may be even more important. Issues such as cultural differences, past experiences (personal or because of our organization), generational differences, fear, and the list goes on. You must also think about how these issues can be addressed so that people can use the services you offer more effectively. Sometimes that solution must be solved by thinking creatively. Ask yourself, what can our partners bring to the table to help us? Or even better, do we have partners? If not, why?

Partnerships can be a beneficial to every organization, especially in this day and age when funds are short and hard to get. Having partners with whom to share resources can be a lifesaver for any organization. CCC was established in 2023 and is a partnership made up of more than twenty state, local, nonprofits, and other organizations/individuals who have joined together to reach a common goal: providing services equitably to all cultures in our community by focusing on the growth of the most underserved cultures, raising awareness, and services until all cultures in our community are equally served and living and working successfully together.
